A New Era for Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington
Washington, DC – October 27, 2010 – At the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) quarterly Board of Directors meeting Monday, the Board unanimously voted that, effective January 1, 2011, RAMW will become an independent association and no longer a National Restaurant Association (NRA) state affiliate NRA offered an updated dual membership agreement that strictly defined member associations to qualify as a State Affiliate by state lines, and in the case of RAMW, the “state” would be the District of Columbia and exclude the remainder of the Metropolitan area.
