Dominion Virginia Power's monthly electricity rates will increase effective April 1, 2011, with revised rates for specific surcharges on the Company's bills. The Rider R (Bear Garden Generating Station), Rider S (Virginia City Hybrid Energy Center), and Riders C1 and C2 (Demand Side Management Programs) surcharges are adjusted annually to permit Virginia Power to recover the cost of these projects and programs.

AOBA is reviewing the Company's revised rates for these surcharges and will provide details on the impact of these rate increases on our Virginia members in AOBA's April Utility Update and during AOBA's Utility Committee Meeting on April 20.
