THE RAMMYS
The first Restaurant Awards Gala was held in 1982 to honor the best and brightest of our industry and was attended by a handful of the area’s restaurants. Twenty seven years later, The RAMMY Restaurant Awards has grown to over 1300 attendees with national and international press coverage underscoring its prominence and the importance of Washington as the nation’s dining capital.
A portion of the proceeds from the gala will benefit the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington Education Foundation. Proceeds will help area high school students develop viable careers in the restaurant industry by providing scholarships for post-secondary education in restaurant and hospitality-related fields.
