Once again, The RAMMYS brought together over 1,500 restaurant industry professionals to recognize and award excellence and achievement in the DC Metropolitan area restaurant industry.

The theme of the 2010 RAMMW awards “We’ll Always Have… Restaurants,” is a play on a famous line from the 1940’s movie Casablanca. 1940’s era glamour influenced the décor and attire and infuse the evening with an air of intrigue.

The 2010 RAMMY Awards marked a change in format for the 28 year-old event. This year, in lieu of presenting awards during a seated dinner, the awards were presented during a theatre-style seated ceremony. A celebration with dinner from four pavaliions featuring cuising from Australia, Chile, Mexico and Virginia was provided along with wines from the regions and beverages created by the Beverage/Mixoligy finalists. Also, dancing to the electric band Onyx commenced in the ballroom following the awards presentation.
