The Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington hosted over 1,600 guests at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel celebrating the highly anticipated RAMMY Awards which honor achievements and excellence in the Metropolitan Washington restaurant industry.  Awards were given in 16 categories encompassing the entire restaurant and hospitality community, honoring restaurateurs, chefs and key restaurant industry players.  

Todd Gray, executive chef of Equinox in Washington, DC took home the highly coveted Chef of the Year award and Estadio in Washington, DC was named the Best New Restaurant of the Year.  Also honored at the event was Kyle Bailey, executive chef at Birch & Barley as Rising Culinary Star.
