Taste of Peru
Taste of Peru - Washington DC 2017 is the biggest culinary festival showcasing the gastronomical marvels of Peru. The event will feature renown peruvian chefs and local peruvian restaurants, entertainment, vendors and culturally related topics. The Event will take place Sunday June 4, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the University of the District of Columbia.
This is a ticketed event, the price of the ticket is for admission and give you access to the live entertainment and live cooking demonstrations. Each vendor will charge for food or products separately. Prices could be between $3-$10. Children under 10 are free. For more details about the chefs, check our website. www.tasteofperudc.com.
Tickets: Guest should bring their ticket to the event.
Entrance to the event: The entrance to the event will be through Van Ness Street.
PROHIBITED ITEMS: Attendees to the Taste of Peru Washington DC are strictly prohibited to bring food or beverages into the premises, drugs, weapons of any kind.
SECURITY CHECK: Security checks are event specific. Hand held wand detectors, bag checks and pat downs will take place at the entrances of the facility prior to access the main plaza. All guests will walk through a security screening area prior to gaining access to the University of the District of Columbia.
Directions By Car
From Maryland: Take I-495 beltway exit 33 MD-185 s Connecticut Ave towards Chevy Chase continue around roundabout take 4th exit continue on Connecticut Ave then turn right on Van Ness 4.6 miles
From Virgina: Take I-295 North towards DC take 14th Street bridge turn left on I Street then turn right on Connecticut Ave continue on Connecticut Ave then turn left on Van Ness 3.9 miles.
Parking: UDC has underground parking but it may be too pricey, that is why we are reccomending to take Metro.
Public Transportation/Metro: We are absolutely recomendding to take Metro, The Van Ness-UDC Metro Station is less than a block away from the event.
Refunds: All sales are final/ Taste of Peru Washington DC 2017 will not offer refunds. If your plans have changed you can try to re-sell your ticket(s).
