2017 RAMMYS Cocktail Program of the Year Finalists Shine in June

Finalists for the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) 2017 RAMMY Award for Cocktail Program of the Year have exciting promotions planned for Monday, June 12, through Friday, June 16. Throughout the week, finalists will showcase their outstanding offerings through in-house promotions, reaffirming why they deserve to win one of the region’s premier industry accolades – a RAMMY Award. Guests are encouraged to come out and support their favorite watering hole throughout the week.

The week of June 12, any guest who posts photos at a RAMMYS cocktail program finalist location using the Instagram handle @RAMWdc and hashtag #RAMMYSCocktails will be entered to win a pair of tickets to the 2017 RAMMY Awards Gala on July 30. Contest winner will be contacted via Instagram prior to the RAMMYS.

During the week of June 12, Iron Gate invites guests to try a new cocktail from spirits manager Nick Farrell: Baklava Needs Bees ($13). The cocktail is made with brown-butter washed Barr Hill Gin, a unique gin made by beekeepers, housemade pistachio-honey orgeat, Don Ciccio y Figli Nocino, and Lindera Farms Wild Rose Vinegar then shaken, strained, and garnished with pistachio dust.
