MCLEAN, VA - On Sunday, November 1, 2015, the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Foundation will host its inaugural Celebrate Every Breath Gala: A Grand Chefs Event Presented by CIM Group at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner in McLean, VA. This new and exciting gala promises to be an elegant evening of culinary creativity, interactive dining, aromatic wines and collaboration among the most talented chefs in DC – all for an incredible cause – to help find a cure for cystic fibrosis. The Celebrate Every Breath Gala: A Grand Chefs Event Presented by CIM Group aims to increase awareness and raise significant funds in order to help take major steps forward in CF research and care, in the quest to ultimately find a cure for this life-threatening genetic disease.

Kieran Donahue Marinucci, Vice President of Marketing, Americas for Hilton Worldwide, is the chair of this year’s event, and is spearheading Celebrate Every Breath in honor of her cousin who is battling CF. The event committee welcomes longtime Foundation supporters Ed Barnidge of Williams & Connolly, Vito J. Germinario of GPR, Inc., Harvey Goodman of Goodman, Gable, Gould, Ed and Ellen Nemeroff of GovConnection, and Walter Whitt. “I am proud to be part of this group of people that is working hard to make our dreams of finding a cure for cystic fibrosis a reality. We are at an exciting time in the history of this disease – a cure is finally within reach. Together, we can achieve something that has never been done before – making CF stand for Cure Found. And we won’t rest until we put a cure in the hands of each and every person affected by cystic fibrosis.” says Donahue.
