RAMW Announces 2012 Summer Restaurant Week Dates

Over 240 restaurants invite area diners to prix-fixe feasts from August 13 —19

 

Washington, DC (July 12,2012) - Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) is pleased toannounce that the 2012 Summer Restaurant Week will be held from August 13 toAugust 19 at participating restaurants around the DC Metropolitan Area. Thefull list of participating restaurants is available online atwww.restaurantweekmetrodc.org. This willbe the 21st Restaurant Week promotion.

As in summers — andwinters — past, the bi-annual Restaurant Week promotes restaurants from variousprice points to area residents and visitors. “Restaurant Week is an openinvitation to eat, drink and be merry, while immersing oneself in the DC area’srich and diverse culinary culture,” says RAMW President, Lynne Breaux.

The much anticipated,week-long event is an excellent opportunity for diners to enjoy the best thatthe region has to offer at affordable rates; three-course, prix-fixe lunch anddinner menus are priced at $20.12 and $35.12, respectively. 

Foodies take note. Hereare some tips to get the most out of 2012 Summer Restaurant Week:

  • Make reservations early online at www.restaurantweekmetrodc.org.
  • Check out menus to find the best deals and to confirm that restaurants are offering promotions for lunch, dinner or both.
  • Experiment — Try something new! This is the best time to try out that one place (or maybe more) that has always piqued your interest.
