Gogi Yogi

Gogi Yogi is a Korean BBQ Restaurant and Bar in Shaw, Washington DC. We are excited to be the only table top Korean Barbecue restaurant in this great city. This project comes to you from the team behind Duke's Grocery and Duke's Counter.

The kitchen is led by Patrice Cunningham, a Korean/African-American Chef born and raised in Washington DC who grew up cooking Korean and American food with her mother, who is still teaching her. “My mom’s been coming in here, putting her touch on things,” Cunningham told Eater DC. “She’ll just come in and say ‘Hey, I think you should add more this,’ or ‘Add more that.’ She’ll adjust some of the recipes to make sure the flavors from where I grew up are there.”
