Promote Your Restaurant During AT&T Nation's Football Classic - Sept. 11-14

RAMW and Events DC will be welcoming the 2014 AT&T Nation’s Football Classic® to Washington, DC on Saturday, September 13th, 2014. The game and surrounding activities will bring over 20,000+ visitors to the DC Metropolitan region, especially concentrated in areas surrounding Howard University, RFK Stadium, and game headquarters – the Washington Marriott in Georgetown. There are many ways for your restaurant to get involved and invite visitors to your establishments September 11-14 through free marketing promotions, advertising, and more. Read on for details.

Created by Events DC, Classic weekend celebrates the passion and tradition of the black college football experience while offering a variety of educational, entertainment and networking experiences for attendees of all ages and interests. The football game at RFK Stadium features Howard University and Morehouse College, two of our nation’s most recognized and heritage-rich Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE? Do ANY of the following:

  1. Offer an incentive for game-goers, event attendees, alumni, journalists, and current Howard University and Morehouse College students to your restaurant or bar
  2. Place 5x7 palm cards promoting the game in your restaurant, business, or bar (available by request)
  3. Offer a discount of 10% off or more
  4. Create a Howard University or Morehouse College-inspired cocktail available during Happy Hour
  5. Plan an alumni mixer/happy hour event that RAMW and Events DC will promote to NFC attendees
  6. Discount on private dining room for large groups
  7. Or other creative ideas you have! (Be specific)


All of this for FREE!

  1. The first 20 restaurants who respond will be included in our September 4th Washington City Paper Ad listing participating restaurants
  2. Listing in online restaurant directory made available to attendees and visitors at event locations and headquarter hotels.
  3. Inclusion in social media campaign leading up to and during the game
