You are Cordially Invited to the 2020 District Sustainability Awards!

 

Join DC Department of Energy & Environment (DOEE) Director Tommy Wells to honor this year’s District Sustainability Award winners, which include local nonprofit and educational organizations and private sector businesses. This year, the city will also recognize the second winner of the Clean Energy DC Award.

 

District Sustainability Award winners support Mayor Bowser's Sustainable DC Plan goals in areas of energy and water conservation, green building/construction, healthy food access, equity, solar energy production, triple-bottom-line programs, stormwater management, and sustainable waste management.

 

Green carpet and doors beginning at 5:30pm, followed by opening remarks, so please be sure to arrive on time and ready to celebrate!

 

This event is FREE and open to the public; RSVP required.

Dress code: business casual

Transportation

There is limited street parking available; please consider taking public transit to the event. Eastern Market is located two blocks North of the Eastern Market Metro stop (Orange, Silver, and Blue Lines). Several Metrobus lines also service the Eastern Market Metro stop.
