2nd Annual People's Hanukkah Party at Casolare

December 6, 2018 - 6:30pm to 9:30pm

Join Casolare for their 2nd Annual People's Hanukkah Party!

Celebrate the festival of lights, rededicate yourself to building a better world and get your nosh on! This year's event is organized by Chef Alex Levin and co-hosted by Chefs Patrick Curran and Ed Scarpone (2018 Tzedek DC Best Blintz Winner) from the Schlow Restaurant Group on Thursday, December 6th from 6:30-9:30pm at Casolare Ristorante + Bar in Washington, DC for an evening of lights, latkes, and libations. The annual celebration and party features classic, traditional dishes along with some delicious surprises from Tico, The Riggsby, and Alta Strada. Bonnie Benwick, Deputy Food Editor, The Washington Post is making her famous apple sauce - critical for our latkes. Our cash bar will be stocked and ready with lots of great drink specials. Mark Furstenberg joins the group with some treats from Bread Furst.

DJ Nes Gadol is back with his cool mixes and beats, and the candle lighting ceremony will be at 8pm with distinguished Rabbis and leaders from the community.

Matt Nosanchuk is also back with more chanu-logues from the White House when he worked as Associate Director of Office of Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs. In his role, he served the Obama Administration as White House Liaison to the American Jewish community, on international issues and for seniors.
