The WeDC Innovation Marketplace will showcase and celebrate the region's most innovative companies and their products. Join us for interactive demonstrations while learning about the latest innovations in the tech + innovation, makers + creative, and social impact industries.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 

9:00 AM - 10:00 AM | DC Chamber Presents: A Forum on Tech Jobs and the Future of Work in DC
Join leaders, advocates and changemakers in business, government, labor and education to address how to fuel talent in our city by building more effective partnerships for greater economic prosperity. 

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM | Science Fiction or Future Science
Exploring the interplay of science fiction on real world technologies, and vice versa, “you can’t build what you can’t imagine."

3:30 PM - 4:30 PM | Swimming with the Sharks
DC has one of the largest and most vibrant groups of Shark Tank alums. This session will highlight local alums. They will share their stories and tips for other entrepreneurs.

9:30 AM - 10:30 AM | Segmentation, Inclusion and Diversity: What Are They and Why Do They Matter?
How can founders foster inclusivity through programs and events that are designed to strengthen diverse community segments?

3:30 PM - 4:30 PM | Making DC the Capital of Inclusive Innovation from within Community
During the panel discussion, the audience will learn how innovative and strategic community-driven technology education can build the IT pool of talent as well as spur diversity & inclusion that engages women, minorities and youth of color into a perpetual workforce development ecosystem.
