Assistant Manager - Bethesda

SEOULSPICE is a fast growing company committed to serving traditional Korean flavors with a modern twist. We’re looking for a process oriented, customer focused and friendly Assistant Manager to lead and develop our team, to execute outstanding product quality and customer service, to deliver a quality experience, and control costs for each shift. The Assistant Manager must follow standard operating policies and procedures and be Servsafe Manager and Food Handler certified with a Montgomery County Certified Food Service Manager's License.

Our newest location is coming to Westfield Montgomery Mall at 7101 Democracy Blvd with a tentative opening date in April 2021.

Main responsibilities include:
-Train, coach, and develop employees and team leaders
-Delegate tasks to team and provide follow-up
-Hold team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
-Ensure team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service
-Ensure product quality, restaurant cleanliness, maintenance and security standards are met
-Assist in scheduling appropriately to control labor costs
-Ensure proper cash handling and deposit procedures are followed
-Follow ordering and invoicing systems accurately
-Assist in interviewing and hiring new Team Members

Qualifications include:
-Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
-Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our SEOULSPICE values and culture
-Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
-Strong time-management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize, and organize

Requirements include:
-Resume submission indicating prior related work experience
-Weekday and weekend availability with a minimum of 30-35 hours
-Must be authorized to work in the United States
-Servsafe Manager and Food Handler Certificate
-Montgomery County Certified Food Service Manager License
