Bistro Cacao has been serving modern French Cuisine in their Capitol Hill location since 2009. We are looking for a result oriented, customer driven Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Restaurant Manager duties:
● Increases customer base by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs; evaluating program results; identifying and tracking changing demands.
● Controls purchases and inventory for the entire restaurant items (except kitchen) by meeting with vendors; negotiating prices and contracts; developing preferred supplier lists; reviewing and evaluating usage reports; taking corrective actions.
● Accomplishes restaurant and bar human resource objectives by recruiting, orienting, training, assigning tasks, scheduling, coaching and management staff; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
● Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.
● Provides consultation to the Executive Chef on adjustments needed on our seasonal menu.
● Develops a bar and wine menu seasonally.
● Manages all updates necessary on our POS system.
What we are looking for:
● Hardworking, attentive, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service
● At least 5 years of experience in restaurant business and 3 years as a restaurant manager, preferably in a fine dining French Restaurant
● Great verbal and written communication skills
● Provides guests with exceptional service and value
