Elizabeth’s Gone Raw is a plant-based, fine dining restaurant that attracts gracious clientele who appreciate organic and sustainable food and wine. It is a synthesis of tradition and progression which unites classical service with modern cuisine. Our use of molecular gastronomy creates harmony between art and science and expands the potential for unlimited, exciting flavors. We are a woman owned and operated company with thirty-one years in the hospitality industry. The owner, Elizabeth Petty, is passionate about delivering the highest quality dining experience and believes that success comes from nurturing her staff to bring out their talents and strengths. Elizabeth’s Gone Raw is rated one of the top plant-based restaurants in the country and one of the top five restaurants in Washington, DC featured in Open Table and Thrillist. We have very little staff turnover and a dedicated client base, many of whom travel great distances to experience our innovative approach to plant-based dining in a beautiful, intimate setting. The restaurant is currently open Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

Availability AM shift Tue, Wed, Thu from 7AM - 5PM | PM shift Fri, Sat from 12PM - Close

The Catering Company of Washington was founded 36 years ago and is a boutique catering service that offers grass-fed meats, sustainable fish and organic produce which services private and corporate clientele both on and off premise. As of recent, there has been an emphasis on plant-based catering.

The position is great for industry experts looking to expand their knowledge of vegan fine dining. Great opportunity to work at DC's leading fine dining vegan restaurant and learn innovative vegan cooking techniques.

Responsibilities

Learning and executing prep work from the Chef. All food is made in house.
Set up station and plate prix fixe course at the required level
Complete station setup in a timely, efficient fashion
Report to the executive chef and follow instructions.
Be able to work in a professional manner with fellow employees
Operate, clean, and maintain all kitchen equipment
Maintain a clean and organized station
Follow all proper food safety practices and kitchen safety practices
On-Site training available with the Executive Chef
Skills and Requirements

Kitchen experience ( 1-3 Yrs)
Sanitation Knowledge
Food safety knowledge

Compensation Details:

Pay: $58,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
