2014 RAMMYS Nominations Close Wednesday

January 27, 2014

Washington, DC (January 27, 2014)—Nominations for the 2014 RAMMY Awards will close at midnight, the evening of Wednesday, January 29.  Members of the public are encouraged to nominate their favorite chefs, foodservice operators, local food & beverage products, and professionals for consideration in the region’s premier industry awards program.

To nominate an outstanding operator or professional in the area’s exceptional restaurant industry, use RAMW’s simple nomination form at  Any RAMW member who meets all category requirements is eligible for nomination. The selection process for nominees and winners will begin promptly after nominations close.  In early spring the public will have the opportunity to vote on finalists in four public voting categories online at and on the websites of RAMMYS finalists. The remaining categories will be decided by a panel of judges anonymous to both the public and each other.  The group, consisting of food and dining journalists, educators, and foodservice industry professionals will spend six weeks finalizing their selections, the results of which will be announced at an event in mid-March.
