Cafe Deluxe Announces Plans for Fifth Location

Washington, DC (August 1, 2013)—Cafe Deluxe is excited to announce its fifth location, slated to debut Spring of 2014. The American bistro serving fresh and innovative classics will be bringing its bustling neighborhood restaurant to the West End situated at the corner of 22nd and M Streets, NW on the ground floor of the currently under construction Hilton Garden Inn.
From breakfast, lunch and dinner to weekday happy hours and weekend brunch, Cafe Deluxe West End will provide its signature fresh take on American Dining, featuring timeless dishes made from scratch with seasonal ingredients and flavors. Residents, businesspeople and hotel guests alike will enjoy signature dishes like Steamed Prince Edward Island Mussels or Grilled Atlantic Salmon Nicoise; and an array of crispy, thin whole wheat crust flatbreads with toppings like Roasted Grapes, Tomatoes and Creamy Feta and Apples, Brie, Melted Leeks and Candied Walnuts.
Additional highlights include hand pattied Turkey Burger; Ahi Tuna Tacos with black beans, chipotle crema and side salad; Shaved Prime Rib layered with caramelized onions, Peppadew relish and provolone cheese on a hoagie roll; Grilled Salmon accompanied by red pepper coulis, goat cheese and asparagus risotto; and long-time favorites like the Sliced Grilled Meatloaf and Braised Boneless Short Ribs.

The 5,000 square foot restaurant, designed by local architectural firm GTM is designed with rich-colored leather booths and mahogany furniture surrounded by oversized mirrors to create a sparkling energy to further liven up downtown Washington, DC
Shalom Baranes Associates designed the environmentally friendly LEED certified building. The design utilizes high-end, modern finishes while complementing the classical architecture of the surrounding buildings.
Cafe Deluxe West End will accommodate up to 130 people in the dining room with seating for 38 at the bar, about 50 in the private dining room area and an additional 2,500 square feet of event space in the hotel that can seat up to 225 -- ideal for holiday parties and special occasions. Room service from the kitchen of Cafe Deluxe will be available nightly to all 238 rooms of the Hilton Garden Inn.
