CohnReznick to Host Restaurant Technology Summit in Washington, D.C.

October 19, 2016

CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading accounting, tax, and advisory firms in the United States, has announced that it will present its 2016 Restaurant Technology Summit.  The event will focus on the theme of “Breakthrough Strategies for Competing in Today’s Digital Marketplace” and will take place on October 27th in Washington, D.C.

Addressing the fact that restaurant owners and operators must now have both a brick-and-mortar and digital presence to remain successful, CohnReznick’s Restaurant Technology Summit will bring together top restaurant industry experts and premier operators to discuss best practices and competitive strategies for utilizing technology to enhance operations and boost revenue.

“Restaurant technology has exploded in the last few years, providing unprecedented growth opportunities for owners and operators, but they have to understand what to implement and when, or risk costly pitfalls.  As a result, we created this event to provide the guidance needed to successfully navigate the complex restaurant technology landscape,” said Christopher Mahon, Partner and leader of the Firm’s Hospitality Industry Practice in the D.C. Metro region.

Highlights of the Summit include a presentation by keynote speaker, Abigail Lorden, Branding Director and Editor-in-Chief, Hospitality Technology magazine. Ms. Lorden will discuss what innovative restaurants do differently and other trends impacting the industry. Additionally, the event boasts an outstanding lineup of leading industry experts, including: Noah Glass, Founder and CEO, Olo; Michael Lastoria, Chief Executive and Co-Founder, &Pizza; Christina Dorobek, Chief Sales Officer, Level Up; Fred LeFranc, Founding Partner, Results Thru Strategy; Mike Lukianoff, Chief Analytics Officer, Fishbowl; Casey Patten, Co-Owner and Co-Founder, Taylor Gourmet; and Tripp Sessions, Managing Director, EX|OP|SOL, and former Senior Vice President, Chief Digital and Technology Officer, TGI Fridays.
