RAMW and CAGW Announce Partnership to Promote Dining and the Arts through CultureCapital.com

February 6, 2013

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Washington, DC (February 6, 2013) – Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) is pleased to announce its new partnership with CultureCapital.com, the Cultural Alliance of Greater Washington's online arts and culture website.

As visitors to CultureCapital.com discover performances and events, neighboring restaurants will also be displayed allowing the visitor to see their dining options at a glance before arriving at or leaving the venue; this listing information will be provided by RAMW as a value-added benefit to its restaurant members.

“We are excited to collaborate with RAMW in this effort and believe the Dining section adds a level of online concierge service to CultureCapital visitors by presenting them with choices for pre- or post-dining experiences,” said CAGW President Jennifer Cover Payne.

“This is a natural partnership. Restaurants are so often a major part of the arts and cultural activities that both residents and visitors to this region experience. You grab a pre-theatre meal before the show. You visit a gallery on a Saturday afternoon and inevitably end up at a restaurant. It will be great for CultureCapital visitors to have easy access to our restaurant members nearby,” said RAMW President, Kathy Hollinger.

The site, which launched in June 2008, provides a platform for CAGW members to promote, engage and inform the public of the wealth of arts, culture and entertainment activities available throughout Metro DC. Today, over 200 arts organizations and cultural institutions participate in CultureCapital.com
