Restaurant Marvin - Tips Out
Sheldon A. Scott, General Manager at Restaurant Marvin, has started a charity event called "Tip Out" which takes place at Restaurant Marvin every 4th Monday of the month. On this night, Sheldon will wait tables and donate 100% of his tips to a selected charity.
Every month a new charity is chosen to receive the donation. The first month's charity was Pediatric Aids/HIV Care, Inc. http://www.pediatricaidshivcare.org/ Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care is a community based non-profit organization that works to preserve, assist and strengthen the well-being of children ages 5-18 infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS in metropolitan Washington, DC.
Sheldon raised over $2,100 for Pediatric AIDS/HIV Care Inc. If you haven’t been to this new hot spot on U Street, this is a great reason to make it there this month.
