Since 1920, RAMW (and its predecessor the Washington Restaurant Association) has been the leading advocate – the voice – of restaurant owners, operators, and the food/beverage service industry in the District of Columbia and the everexpanding DC-Metro area. A local organization with local interests in mind, the Association and its crack team
of experts cover policy, regulation, and the myriad of legal and tax matters faced by establishments ranging from casual eateries to internationally acclaimed fine dining restaurants. Not to mention efforts with business-building PR, marketing and promotion, events and awards programming, and the best in restaurant, food and alcohol service, training, certification, and education. In a nutshell, this is today’s RAMW under the solid leadership of President Lynne Breaux.
