TheRestaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) is excited to announce this year’s recipient of the Duke Zeibert Capital Achievement Award,  former Mayor of the District of Columbia, Anthony A. Williams.

The Duke Zeibert Capital Achievement Award was presented this evening atThe Hamilton in downtown Washington, DC. Introduced by Councilman Jack Evans, a longstanding supporter of RAMW, was former Mayor Williams, whomheld two-terms as Mayor from 1999 to 2007 and remains one of Washington’s most beloved mayors and influential citizens. During his tenure, Mayor Williams laid the ground work for the economic vitality that we have in Washington today while understanding that restaurants were to play a major part in the resurgence of the region. Mayor Williams’ impact on the city is incalculable and defines the consummate Duke Zeibert Award recipient.  Read the full Press Release
