The Dish & Dram is looking for a full-time sous chef. Our "model neighborhood restaurant" is chef-owned and is the only restaurant in Kensington, MD with a full liquor license. We strive to bring creative food to our guests, many of whom dine here multiple times a week.

We are looking for someone who will work directly with the Chef de Cuisine, assisting him in overseeing the back of house team, maintaining financial goals, staff training and maintaining a specific level of food quality and execution. As a small restaurant, the sous chef has the opportunity to bring their ideas to the table and to create specials and other menu items. We are looking for someone with attention to detail and knowledge of inventory and ordering and who enjoys engaging with all team members and can also run the line on days the Chef de Cuisine is not there.

We provide a competitive salary with bonuses, a minimum of two days off per week, paid time off and free parking. Sadly, we do not provide health insurance at this time.
