DC Farm to School Week: CALLING ALL RAMW CHEFS!
Announcing D.C. Farm to School Week! The D.C. Farm to School Network and RAMW are mobilizing local chefs to participate. If you participated last year, THANK YOU, and we'd love to have you back. Work with a DC School October 3 - 7 to help students learn about healthy, local food!
Please let us know if you are interested to lead a cooking demonstration at a school. Contact Jennifer Lehman at Jennifer@ramw.org who will be the point person for coordinating the demos at schools. We have several schools with their students excited to watch a chef in action. Any chance you may be available the week of October 3 - 7?
A simple “Yes, I am interested” reply including what day and time is best for you or your chef. We hope to “make a match.” Chefs play a key role in inspiring students to take an interest in and responsibility for what they eat and how it is prepared!
