Convention Center Sidewalk Festivals to Engage Shaw Community With Showcase of Local Artists

(Washington, DC) – In preparation for the launch of the second phase of “Windows into DC,” an innovative pop-up arts project at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, the Washington Convention and Sports Authority and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities will hold a press conference to discuss their two upcoming weekend-long art festivals that will showcase creative expressions from local artists through live music, pop-up galleries and fashion.
