DC Chefs Invited to Join National Mental Health Fundraiser

The Hospitality Mental Wellness Initiative USA is calling on DC restaurants and chefs to sign up for DC Plates for Change 2027, a national fundraiser set for May 27 at the Eastern Market North Hall benefiting mental health support for hospitality workers.

• A Growing Need, A Growing Response: The initiative is working to reduce mental health stigma in the industry. The DC event will bring chefs and restaurants from across the country to serve signature dishes, with proceeds supporting that work.
