RAMW is providing ServSafe training classes and exams, and technical assistance seminars and workshops at no cost to District of Columbia residents, restaurant, foodservice, and hospitality businesses through September 30, 2025.
This Program is being funded, partially or fully, through the District of Columbia Executive Office of the Mayor - Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development.
Food & Alcohol Manager Training
Essential food safety certifications through the ServSafe® program, offering monthly in-person classes at our office in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood of Washington, DC.
Online Re-certification
Get your Food or Alcohol Manager certificate immediately upon passing the online exam with our proctor.
Sexual Harassment Training
Tipped Wage Workers Fairness Act (TWWF) Anti-Harassment Training - The Tipped Wage Workers Fairness Amendment Act (TWWF) requires that DC businesses that employ at least one tipped wage worker must receive anti-sexual harassment training by an OHR-certified trainer, for everyone on staff, every two years. The training can be completed online or in person.
Virtual sessions are held monthly and are open to DC restaurant employees, managers, owners, and operators.
Sexual Harassment Prevention for Restaurants. An interactive program from ServSafe designed specifically for employees and managers working in food service.
Note: The ServSafe Sexual Harassment Prevention for Restaurants program does not meet the DC requirements for TWWF training.
