Located in the Penn Quarter neighborhood of Washington, D.C., Frederik De Pue’s Menu MBK is a local market, casual bistro and six-seat chef's table, offering three ways to enjoy the best seasonal ingredients and cooking that the Mid-Atlantic has to offer.
The street-level market carries fresh produce and artisanal grocery items from local growers and producers. The third and fourth floors of Menu MBK are home to BistroBar, a casual gathering place boasting thoughtful bar snacks and a diverse menu of beer, wine and cocktails. Menu Kitchen, an intimate six-seat counter overlooking the kitchen where Chef De Pue and his team prepare your set menu highlighting the best seasonal ingredients the market has to offer. From top to bottom, Menu MBK’s design features recycled wood, exposed brick accents and hanging plants. The space is simultaneously warm, homey and energetic.
