Cash Cash to Ignite the Dancefloor at The RAMMY Awards in Washington, DC

World-renowned DJ/Producer/Performers to headline the restaurant industry’s biggest night on July 24th 

Washington, DC (June 21, 2022)—Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) in partnership with Club Glow and Echostage is thrilled to announce the world-renowned electronic music trio, Cash Cash, will headline The 40th Annual RAMMY Awards Gala on Sunday, July 24. The RAMMYS are hosted at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in partnership with Events DC who recently hosted the two-day Project Glow Festival at The Fields at RFK to a crowd of thousands. The black-tie RAMMYS celebration begins with a red-carpet opening reception and awards show, and moves to food and drink tasting experiences, interactive lounges for guests to enjoy, and much more, followed by an epic dance party with help from Club Glow and Cash Cash. 

Cash Cash has made music and sold out shows worldwide for over a decade. Currently signed to Big Beat/Atlantic Records, the group consists of brothers Jean Paul Makhlouf and Alex Makhlouf, and life-long friend Samuel Frisch. Together, the three DJ/producer/multi-instrumentalists record, mix, and master all their music. Over the past few years, the trio has seen massive success with a slew of single releases. Their recent accolades include:

  • “Finest Hour” (ft. Abir has been RIAA-certified Gold

  • “Can We Pretend” 2019 collaboration with P!NK hit Top 10 at AC Radio

  • “Call You” (ft. Nasri of MAGIC!) hit #1 on US Dance Radio

  • Featured on Billboard’s Dance 100 List for 2019

  • Smash single “Take Me Home” (ft. Bebe Rexha) celebrated an RIAA platinum certification

  • “All My Love” (ft. Conor Maynard) has amassed over 100 million streams on Spotify alone

  • “Matches” featuring ROZES achieved #1 on Dance Radio

  • One of their releases “Belong” was featured on Dashboard Confessional’s album “Crooked Shadows”

Other dynamic happenings found at this year’s awards gala include Moët & Chandon bubbles flowing during the red carpet, a tantalizing oyster bar by Congressional Seafood, featured cocktails from partners like renowned DC cocktail bar Silver Lyan, Campari, Jameson, Bacardi and numerous food and drink tasting stations throughout the evening. Commemorate the area’s top talent and honor excellence in long-standing categories that range from individual professional honors to accolades celebrating culinary concepts and creativity. 

This marks the ninth year The RAMMYS will be hosted at the Convention Center, as part of a nearly decade-long partnership between RAMW and Events DC. Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW)

Club Glow
