Team up with owner/chef Pepe Moncayo in this unique opportunity as he introduces Washington D.C. to Spanish Kaiseki cuisine.

Located just a short walk from the Metro (Gallery Pl/Chinatown) and Capital One Arena, our 12,000 square foot restaurant will be our first venture in the U.S. certainly not our last.

Chef Moncayo is a world-renowned chef, creating in Michelin Star restaurants throughout the world. Currently, Cranes is looking for a Bartender to be part of an amazing adventure! The requirements and responsibilities are:

Requirements:

- 2 years of bartending experience is required; those with volume experience are preferred

-Must be able to prepare classic and popular cocktails without referenced materials

-Excellent knowledge of spirits, beers, and wines. Sake knowledge is a +

-Must possess certification as a bartender, TIPS, and ServSafe preferred

-Prior experience in a luxury or upscale hotel/restaurant preferred

-Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include both AM/PM shifts, late night shifts, weekends, and holidays

-Demonstrated multitasker with a positive attitude

-Fluent in English is required (written and verbal)

-Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for an 8 hour shift

Job Responsibilities:

-Support the company's philosophy and company culture through the philosophy of Omotenashi

-Provide superior service to every guest, ensuring delight with unique food and beverage offerings

-Complement the guest's food selections with advice on proper beverage pairings

-Cater a unique experience for each guests with use of varied knowledge of cocktails, beers, wines, sake and pairings

-Maintain Bar stock levels and cleanliness

-Create an impressive Cocktails and beverages

-Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with guests

-Be knowledgeable of market trends, new beverages, and beverage costs

-Control and maintain inventory

-Prep ingredients for cocktails
