District Larder

District Larder is neighborhood delicatessen located in Petworth, Washington DC. Heavily devoted to whole animal butchery, the shop turns pigs, lamb, and poultry sourced from Virginia and Maryland into an array of cold cuts, sandwich meats, and charcuterie--available both on their sandwich menu or by the pound out of their deli case. Mortadella, Pepperoni, Genoa Salami, Soppressetta, Hot Capicola sit next to hams, bacon and variety of specialty charcuterie items like pate en croutes, pithiers, mousses and rillettes. Past the sandwich counter sits an 18 seat bar serving up classic cocktails and pouring drafts alongside a line up Brats, Half-smokes, Hotdogs, chorizos, burgers and more in the evenings as well as classic brunch faire on weekend mornings.
