 Maison Breizh at Bastille was created by Chef Michelle Poteaux, pastry chef and co-owner of Bastille Brasserie & Bar. Inspired by family trips to Normandy and trained in Saint-Malo at L’Atelier de la Crêpe, Michelle brings the galettes, crêpes, cider, and coastal flavors of Brittany to life here in Alexandria. Maison Breizh at Bastille was created from a love of Brittany’s most honest food: buckwheat galettes, delicate crêpes, cider, and the simple joy of gathering around the table. Our philosophy is rooted in good ingredients, careful technique, and warm hospitality — a little taste of Brittany, made here in Old Town Alexandria.
