Namak
Namak is an Eastern Mediterranean and Levantine restaurant nestled in the bustling Adams Morgan neighborhood founded by longtime friends and established restaurateurs John Cidre and Saied Azali. The name “Namak” derives from the Persian word for salt, symbolizing the significance of simple and seasonal ingredients that form the backbone of the Levantine, Greek, North African, and Persian dishes that are served at Namak. Emphasizing the value of freshness, its menu boasts a delightful array of bread, kebabs, mezes, and specialty drinks – each crafted daily in-house, ensuring an authentic experience for our patrons. Namak has been featured on multiple publications, including the Washingtonian and Eater DC.
