ServSafe Manager Certification Exam Only Options
Re-certify for via exam testing at RAMW. RAMW is able to proctor your ServSafe exams. Take your exam, in person at the RAMW office, and receive your score immediately - this option is only available for those who have previously received a Food Safety certification or needs an Advanced exam for a Maryland license; proof of eligibility is required. If you are obtaining a Food or Alcohol Manager license for the first time, you are required to take the applicable full ServSafe® Manager Course.

Take the Food Manager and Alcohol Awareness courses online at ServSafe.com and you can now also take the Food Manager exam online with a virtual proctor!
- Food Manager Course with Online Proctored Exam ($179) - select this option if you have not had a Food Manager certificate before or if you would like to take the full course as a refresher before taking the exam.
- Food Manager Exam w/online proctoring ($99) - select this option if you already have a Food Manager certificate and need to renew it; this is an option when you are comfortable with your food safety knowledge and you are ready to take the exam.
- Food Manager Course ($125) price does not include exam or online proctoring - select this option to take only the course; the exam is not included with this option. To take the exam, you can do so through ServSafe online (note: it's best to get the bundle for $179) or with an instructor in person.
The Alcohol Manager course with Primary Exam is also available online at ServSafe.com. The Alcohol Manager Primary exam does not require a proctor to administer the exam. RAMW administers the Advance exam during in-person classes and for online testing. Both the Primary and Advanced are accepted by local jurisdictions for licensing purposes.
