KO Distilling

KO Distilling is a craft distillery located in historic Manassas and is owned by Washington Metro area natives Bill Karlson and John O'Mara. We make and sell three Battle Standard 142 gins (Navy Strength, Standard Strength, and Barrel Finished); Virginia Moon White Whiskey; and Bare Knuckle American Wheat Whiskey. All five of these spirits are certified as Virginia's Finest products. KO Distilling also makes small batch straight bourbon and rye whiskey, some of which will be released in 2017. For the whiskeys it makes, KO Distilling sources its grains from local Virginia farms. Those grains are milled on-site, mashed, fermented and double-distilled. In DC, MD and DE, KO products may be purchased wholesale from Prestige Beverage Group-Ledroit Brands (Prestige-Ledroit). KO has a 12,000 sq ft facility, which includes a beautiful oak and copper-themed 2,500 sq ft Events Center where guided tours, tastings and special events, including private functions, are conducted.
