DC Cocktail Week 2022 - Restaurant Participation Details

The week-long spirited promotion starts Monday, November 28. Join us in celebrating local cocktail culture, sign up today!

Cocktail Week celebrates our local cocktail culture and restaurants across the Metropolitan region are showcased featuring delicious food and drink pairings for guests to enjoy at your bars and as they dine. This year we invite you to take the marketing value up a notch and sign on to also be part of unique experiences and custom events to engage diners and fuel their cocktail and mocktail interests through interesting conversations, educational opportunities, and exclusive cocktail culture experiences.
Both consumers and industry will be invited to take part in and explore everything from low-to-zero proof cocktails to hands-on spirits classes and so much more that will delight diners and media alike and will create opportunities for us to promote your Cocktail Week specials in even bigger ways.  
  • Promotional Dates: November 28 - December 4, 2022
  • Registration Deadline: November 1
  • Participation Fee: $100 per restaurant
PARTICIPATION LEVELS (Fee is $100 per location for all levels of participation)
  1. Low-Proof: Entry Level - Restaurant features a cocktail + a bite for one set price; mocktails welcome too!
  2. Mid-Proof: Features cocktail (or mocktail) + a bite for one set price & hosts a special event, cocktail class, or happy hour of your choosing and it will be heavily promoted through DC Cocktail Week marketing. Your restaurant keeps all revenue from hosting special events.
  3. High-Proof: Features cocktail (or mocktail) + a bite for one set price & hosts special event, such as a cocktail class, tasting dinner, or happy hour & offers custom cocktail-at-home kits. Your restaurant keeps all revenue from hosting special events and kit sales.
Inclusion in our extensive marketing campaign utilizing RAMW’s direct marketing and online platforms, our marketing partner platforms, advertising buys, and media engagement reaching a combined diner audience of 300K+ locals.
  • Inclusion in participant listing in a promotional press release distributed to 100+ local media outlets.
  • Consideration for media opportunities such as on-air demos and interviews as requested.
  • Instagram and Facebook campaigns focused on DC Cocktail Week pairings including Stories, Reels, and boosted ads.
  • Listing on including logo, pairing details, and photos.
MID & HIGH PROOF LEVELS also receive additional marketing of your DC Cocktail Week special event including:
  • Event listing on and
  • Inclusion in boosted Event Ad on Facebook promoting special events during DC Cocktail Week
  • Inclusion of special events listing in e-communications
MARKETING ADD-ON: Opportunity to be included in RAMW’s Cocktail Gifting Guide to be distributed through RAMW’s social media platforms reaching 29K+ followers and via direct email to 23K+ subscribers. Promote Your Cocktail Kits as holiday season gifts! 
  2. Determine your cocktail and small bite pairing, which can be a small plate, starter or appetizer.
  3. Set your price for the cocktail + bite. You determine the price. There is not a pre-determined set price.
  4. Submit a description of your pairing & photo of your cocktail, with or without the paired dish, for promotional use by November 10th
  5. Offer the pairing from Monday, November 28 - Sunday, December 4
  • Deadline to sign up: Tuesday, November 1
  • Deadline to submit promotional details: Tuesday, November 8
