Autumn Fest at Pizzeria Paradiso Old Town

Pizzeria Paradiso will host their third quarterly beer festival in Old Town, the Autumn Fest Beer Festival on November 10th from 11:30am - 4:00pm. This season’s festival features 21 brews from twenty-one Virginia-based independent breweries. The festival has no entrance fee, but guests can purchase drink vouchers here for $15 which include three 6 oz. beer samples and a free Autumn Fest glass. The event will also feature entertainment for the whole family like corn hole, giant Jenga, and board games. Pizzeria Paradiso’s non-profit partner, Art Works Now, a local organization which provides arts programming for the community, will have mini-pumpkin painting for a suggested donation of $5. 

 

Executive Beverage Director Drew McCormick has selected fall-flavored beers including “Oktoberfest” from neighboring Port City Brewing, “Rum Pumpkin” from Hardywood, and Old Ox Brewery’s pumpkin brown ale made with Vermont maple syrup called “Oxorcist II.” Solace Brewing Company’s Honey Pumpkin Lager, “She Made Me,” will be available as well. 

 

Additional beers include a few more funky drafts like Lickinghole Creek’s “Heir Apparent,” an imperial stout made with Mexican peppers and vanilla, Parkway Brewing’s “Reformator Doppelbock,”and Old Bust Head’s “Gold Cup Nitro.” A speciality cask from Crooked Run Brewing of their “Charm” Milk Stout made with Mexican Vanilla and Cuban coffee will also be available. 

 

Vouchers for 6oz pours can be purchased at the event for $3 each. Full pours of each draft will also be available for $6 to $8.
