The District’s Certified Business Enterprise (CBE) program provides small and local business with preferences in procurement opportunities for goods and services. Becoming a CBE food businesses helps position your business to better compete in DC government contracting opportunities. The DC Food Policy Council will host a panel on Thursday, November 12th from 10 am to 11 am to discuss the benefits and opportunities for CBE food businesses and restaurants, learn about resources and technical assistance to become a CBE, and hear from existing CBE food businesses about their experiences in the program. Join us for a great conversation with DSLBD Director Kristi Whitfield, Food Policy Director Ona Balkus, and local food business owners to explore the opportunities of becoming a CBE in the District.
