NEW YEAR'S EVE AT FLIGHT WINE BAR
Flight Wine Bar in Penn Quarter is offering a New Year’s Eve special 4-course prix fixe menu that features customer favorites plus new dishes designed to showcase the restaurants culinary style - fresh, simple, delicious and elevated when accompanied by wine. Dinner is $65 with an optional wine pairing for $45. The suggested wine pairings are focused on Old World wines to create a cohesive flavor profile for the entire meal while taking guests on a tour of different varietals and regions throughout dinner. For example, a diner can start with a sparkling rose from Italy, pair the salad with a crisp, mineral driven Austrian gruner veltliner, followed by full bodied viura blend from Spain, and finish with a sweet dessert wine from Greece. Red and white wine pairing suggestions are offered for every item on the menu so there's something for every type of wine drinker. The menu is priced so guests can celebrate the new year in a delicious and accessible way. See below and attached.
