Whaley's Launches Oyster Happy Hour

Whaley’s will debut its Oyster Happy Hour on Wednesday, November 16th. 

To mark this unique event, Whaley’s has created its own proprietary oyster -- the River Keeper -- which will cost $1 every Monday to Friday from 5-7pm.  This new variety was developed in partnership with the highly regarded Rappahannock River Oyster Company, a purveyor to many of the region's finest restaurants.

The River Keeper name acknowledges the role that oysters play in restoring our waterways, and highlights Whaley’s commitment to support responsible farmers and fisherman. A portion of sales of Whaley's River Keeper Oyster will be donated to the Anacostia River Keepers, local advocates for clean water and healthy communities. 

To celebrate the launch, Whaley’s is hosting a Launch Party on November 16th from 5-7 pm featuring the first harvest of River Keeper Oysters
