EME CAFE & BAR
Chefs Miguel Guerra and Tatiana Mora, founders of the iconic vegan pop-up MITA, are using
traditional cooking techniques and mixing it with international flavors and local ingredients to
create a menu that represents the melting pot of American cooking.
The casual and energetic restaurant, inside D.C.’s iconic Squash on Fire, is suitable for any
occasion. Bring your parents, come with a date, show up in gym attire or a suit, this is the
perfect place to grab a bite, imbibe, mingle, or simply relax. The casual environment, combined
with an eclectic menu and had-crafted cocktails, creates the perfect social atmosphere on any
given day.
Located in one of the District’s most iconic avenues, M Street, EME offers a dinner affair for
locals and guests.
EME – the phonetic pronunciation of the letter “M” in Spanish - is a nod to the chefs’ initials
(Miguel and Mora), as well as the street where they are located.
EME is a playful and modern concept inspired in progressive American cuisine
