Roll Play opened in 2015 with a simple idea: what if Vietnamese food could be just as good for you as it tastes?

We were the first Vietnamese restaurant to bring casual dining to busy professionals—touch screen ordering, fast service, and high-quality comfort food you can feel good about. No shortcuts. No compromises.

Our recipes come from our founder's mom, crafted with the same care she put into feeding her family. We slow-simmer our pho broth for 48 hours using grass-fed Piedmontese oxtail—the first Vietnamese restaurant to do so. We cook everything in avocado oil, never seed oils—another first. And we source all our proteins from The Organic Butcher of McLean, named #1 Best Butcher in America by USA Today. Our beef is American Wagyu and grass-fed Piedmontese. Our pork is pasture-raised Berkshire. Our chicken is antibiotic-free and Halal. Even our tofu is organic.

This isn't just high protein. It's high-quality protein.

Now in 2025, we have three locations serving the DMV—Vienna, Falls Church, and Rosslyn. All open late until 1 AM. Rosslyn is open 24/7. We are open late because we want people to have a better food option than fast food at midnight.
